Kessler docs named among region's best

Jeffrey Cole, MD, Director of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, Elie Elovic, MD, consulting physiatrist and director of traumatic brain injury research; and Steven Kirshblum, Medical Director and Director of Spinal Cord Injury Services, were named among the 21 "Best Doctors" in physical medicine and rehabilitation by New York Magazine. This annual listing, culled from a Castle Connolly Medical, Inc. national survey, reflects the top 25% of the region’s physicians. Also included in the complete Castle Connolly guide to Top doctors: New York Metro Area were Jonathan Fellus, MD, Director of Brain Injury Services, and Todd Linsenmeyer, MD, Director of Urology.
In this annual survey, randomly selected board-certified physicians and hospital leaders were asked to nominate those doctors who in their judgment are best in their field taking into account their clinical expertise and professional qualifications, as well as communication and empathy in dealing with patients.
